It sounds like the 3rd annual Berkeley Wine Festival is going to start with a fabulous Grand Opening. More than 45 wines will be available for sampling, as well as food from Claremont Hotel’s Chef Josh Thomsen and other Berkeley chefs including; Sean Baker (Gather), Amy Murray and Travis McConnell (Revival Kitchen &Venus), Rick DeBeaord (Cafe Rouge), Paul Arenstam (Summer Kitchen), Marcos Sanchez (Paragon), Kyle Anderson (Slow), Yang Peng (Wood Tavern), Akira Komine (Kirala), Morgwa Preston-Jones (Southie), Janine Fong (Claremont Hotel) and The Cheese Board Collaborative. After the opening reception, weekly wine dinners are scheduled through April, each with a featured winery. Check it out.
