I used to intern for Anastasia Widiarsih of IndieCakes a few years ago, when she worked in a shared commercial kitchen. She’s a talented pastry chef, a good teacher and her Salted Caramel Chocolate Cupcake is a work of art. The business grew out of that space, so she moved into Kitchen on 10th in February with Carolyn Wong Cakes. They’ve invited Angel Cakes and Ippo Ramen to share the kitchen, and there’s space for a few other artisan food makers. The first pop-up is this weekend and there will be cupcakes, Parisian macarons, custards, traditional ramen, seasonal pies, specialty teas. Everything will be $5 and under.
