East Bay Dishing: Obelisco

If you weren’t at the last meetup, this is what you missed!

We’re going to Obelisco next.  They serve traditional Mexican food made with locally sourced produce, organic Niman Ranch meats and Mary’s Free Range Chicken.  In addition to Tacos, there are Sopes, Tortas and Chiles Rellenos on the rotating menu.  The family that ran Taco Grill moved across the street last year, transforming from a taqueria into a larger restaurant, so we should check it out!

There are ten spots and the plan is to order lots of dishes, eat family-style and share everything. It’s $2 to save your seat (and to help cover those meetup fees) and try to bring cash so it will be easy to split the bill.
