Bellanico was opened five years ago in Glenview by Chris Shepherd and Elizabeth Frumusa. Named after their daughters’ nicknames Bella and Nico, it’s a neighborhood restaurant that serves Italian food and wine. I had a memorable meal at the bar a couple years ago and really enjoyed the silky sformato and friendly service. To celebrate the anniversary, they’re having an Open House with complimentary food and wine. And to thank the neighborhood for all of the support, 100% of donations received will go to Glenview Elementary.
4238 Park Blvd., Oakland
Sat, 4/28, 4 – 8pm
Suggested donation $15-20
