Next week you can eat “feel good fresh food” and support non-profit organizations simultaneously. Amanda’s is donating 15% of sales to Girls on the Run Bay Area on Monday and 15% to Partners in Health – Haitian Earthquake Relief on Tuesday. I recommend the chicken sandwich – but don’t forget to add roasted onions, avocado and a squirt of ketchup.

I wrote about Chop Bar’s happy hour last week. On top of the free hors d’oeuvres and drink specials, this Monday’s event features live painting and art exhibit by local artists and an art and wine raffle. Punctual people get the best deal because the first 30 people will get a password that extends their happy hour prices an extra hour. All of the raffle proceeds and donations collected are going to be sent to Doctors Without Borders in Haiti.
