TrueBurger recently opened in Oakland’s Uptown. Chef-Owners Greg Eng and Jason Low are serving hand-ground burgers (starting at $4.95), hot dogs (starting at $4) and chili-cheese fries ($4.50) at ridiculously cheap prices. And if that’s not enough motivation, the hand-spun milkshakes ($4.75) sound incredible with fresh mix-ins (strawberries, bananas, caramel, marshmallow cream, peanut butter, coffee, hot fudge). But don’t get too carried away – they’re 50 cents each.
