The Edible Schoolyard’s 6th Annual Plant Sale will offer “annual vegetables, annual and perenial herbs and flowers, culinary and tea herbs, fruit plants and trees, and more than 20 tomato varieties.”  Alice Waters will sign copies of her newest book, In the Green Kitchen, from 9 – 10:30 a.m., and King Middle School students will give garden and kitchen tours.  For lunch, they’ll serve pizza by the slice (from the wood burning oven, of course) and garden salads, along with specialties from local food vendors.

CultureFestThe growing area between Uptown and Temescal is the site of the Koreatown – Northgate Culturefest.  There will be three different stages where musicians and dancers from around the world will perform.  There’s not much information about food vendors on the website, but I’m pretty sure there will be some good options there.
