Speaking of East Bay Vintners, the 4th annual Passport to the East Bay sounds like fun.  You basically make your way through 6 wine tasting rooms in Oakland and Alameda.  While appetizers (provided by caterers and restaurants including Bocanova and Revival Bar + Kitchen) and a souvenir wine glass are included in the full price ticket, designated drivers will get a coffee mug.  And if you can’t talk anybody into being a designated driver, a shuttle bus will be provided by The Mexican Bus.
Sat, 4/2, 12 – 5pm
$40 in advance, $45 at the door, $10 for designated drivers

The 2nd Annual Berkeley Wine Festival opened recently and continues with wine dinners every Wednesday through May 18. Prices range from $130 to $225.
