Chef Jay-Ar Isagani Pugao closed his restaurant, No Worries Filipino Cuisine, after only a year of business in Downtown Oakland so he could transition into a mobile kitchen. He’s still looking for the right opportunity, but in the meantime, you can find him at different events like the Malcom X Jazz Arts Festival in San Antonio Park this weekend. By the way, the music schedule features both veteran and up and coming artists. Free live music is almost always a good thing.
