The Third Annual Jamaican Jerk Cook-Off will be at Linden Street Brewery next week. Chefs from local restaurants and catering companies, including Rumbo Al Sur, Grand Tavern, S+S Gastro Grub, Juicy Jerk and Jerk King will come with their best. Admission only includes one tasting ticket, but additional tickets will be sold at the event for Linden Street beer, Periscope Cellars wine and, of course, more food. Pietisserie and The Oakland Chocolate Company will handle the sweets and there will also be live music, soccer and a jumpy house. Sounds like fun, right? Proceeds will go to My Yute Soccer to help provide free soccer camps for kids.
