I’m excited to introduce Famished, a new series where I interview chefs, business owners, bartenders, writers, etc about how they got started in the food industry. Really, it’s an opportunity for me to spend time with friends, meet new people and find out about good eats. Chef Robert Dorsey told me about the Mediterranean Plate ($12.95) at Cal Gyro, so that’s where we went for lunch. We talked about Julia Child, upcoming projects and his grandma’s cooking.
