I met Maricela Yee, owner of Little Shop Artisan Box, at the Oakland Indie Awards a couple months ago and since then we’ve kept in touch. When I asked her where she likes to eat, she mentioned the Pho at Saigon Grill. We met for dinner the other day and ordered #2 on the menu, which comes with rare steak, well done flank, brisket, tendon & tripe ($7.50). We were having entirely too much fun together but we also managed to discuss her business model, a possible dating service and how her grandmother eats pho.
