Nosy – From Coffee to Donuts

Paula Wirth of Eat Drink Oakland let me know that Remedy Coffee’s last day of business was Friday.  Once a coffee cart, the comfortable cafe had a pretty big following and we’re not exactly sure what happened.  She also mentioned several businesses were interested in the space so I was surprised to see that Josh Levine of Pepples Donuts posted a picture announcing their newest location the very next day.  The vegan donut company based at 6037 San Pablo Ave (Donut Farm) has a kiosk in the Ferry Building and their sweets can also be found in many cafes in the area.  Looks like Pepples is increasing production – good news for donut lovers.

UPDATE: Just kidding.  I found out this was a joke.  Remedy is closed but we don’t know who is taking over the space.  Ahhh, those pranksters over there…
