Thirsty – Urban Wine eXperience

I went to the East Bay Vintner’s Alliance’s Urban Wine eXperience last year and had a great time sampling my way through the Jack London Pavilion.  The 7th annual event is at Rock Wall Wine Company and features over 18 East Bay wineries (including Carica Wines, Cerruti Cellars, Stomping Girl Wines and Urban Legend), each paired with a local chef.  I hear that the restaurants have a special code that will get you $10 off the admission fee, so be sure to ask.  Participating restaurants include Acapulco Restaurant, Angela’s Bistro, Asena Restaurant, Bocanova, Bucci’s, Cafe Q, C’era Una Volta, Chop Bar, Encuentro, Otaez Mexican Restaurant, Pican, Soleil’s African Cuisine and Toast Wine Lounge.
2301 Monarch St, Alameda
Sat, 8/18, 1 – 5pm
$45 in advance, $60 at the door
