The Third Annual Oakland Block Party is this weekend. I’ve never been before but it sounds like a good opportunity for a cocktail crawl. Participating venues include Ozumo, Luka’s, Pican, Era, Plum Bar, Hawker Fare, Make Westing and Somar. You get a cocktail at each location and can choose how many stops you want to make: 4 ($20), 6 ($30) or 8 ($40). Proceeds benefit Oakland public schools and last year the Block Party raised $15,000. This year, the goal is $60,000.
