Thirsty – Dark & Stormy

When B-Side BBQ first opened, I tried the tangy Pulled Pork Sandwich ($8.50) and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I’m happy to report they started selling cocktails a couple weeks ago, so you know I had to see what was on the new menu.  When I stopped by the other day, I ordered the gingery Dark & Stormy ($8, dark rum, ginger beer, lime).  It actually paired well with the Dark & Stormy Ribs ($10, half order), which were smoky and spicy, with just of hint of sweetness.  These ribs were almost as tender as my mom’s!  Happy hour lasts through the end of the month and sounds like a pretty good deal.  Tuesday through Friday from 4 – 6pm, you can get a draught beer or glass of wine and a choice of Spicy Baked Chicken Wings, Pulled Pork Sliders or BBQ Rib Ends for $10.  B-side BBQ is now open until 11pm, and you can also park in EZ Smog’s parking lot after 6pm.
