The self-proclaimed first beer bar in the town, Albany Taproom, opened a few weeks ago. Focusing on small, local breweries and unique international beers, there are more than 32 draft beers and ciders, along with hundreds of bottles that can be served in the bar or taken home. Snacks including Fried Chickpeas with harissa spices ($4) and small plates like Spicy Chicken Wings with Celery and Yogurt Sauce ($8) are also offered with suggested beer pairings. And there’s also the option to order from Grazzy Burgers next door.
