According to Berkeleyside, Art Kinsey (Gioia Pizzeria) has taken over next-door Monterey Liquors, along with Ryan Murff (Cafe Rouge). It’s now Northbrae Bottle Shop, a specialty store with wine, craft beers and spirits for sale. The plan was to open in February but after a few delays, I noticed that the shop officially opened last weekend. Sounds like a welcome addition to the neighborhood, right?
