My Yute Soccer founder Rovel Sparkes was born in Kingston and that’s the inspiration for his yearly fundraiser. The 4th Annual Jamaican Jerk Cook-Off features a DJ, silent auction, raffle and unlimited jerk tastings. Chefs from participating restaurants Rumbo Al Sur, S+S Gastro Grub, Grand Tavern, C & C Original Jerk, Africari-Jerk, Commonwealth, Brude Boys from Linden Street Brewery, Evil Jerk Cart and Nora Spanish Cuisine will offer their best version of the spicy dish. To go along with all that jerk, craft beer from Linden Street Brewery, Drake’s and Lagunitas will also be served.
