Chefs (and owners) Scott and Emily Goldenberg celebrated Caffe 817’s 20th anniversary a couple months ago and now they’re getting ready for the First Annual Caffe 817 Party (on 8/17 – just for the heck of it). There will be music, wine tasting and plenty of food and drinks: House-cured pancetta-chicken spiedino, Grilled Nardello pepper-mushroom skewers, Calabrian summer bean salad, Panzanella, Crumb-topped roasted tomatoes, Marinated chard and cucumber salad, Build-your-own pulled pork sandwiches, Eggplant, tomato and summer squash gratin, Grilled peaches, Nectarine-basil Prosecco cocktail, Blackberry-Vermouth Prosecco cocktail, Wine Tasting with Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant and Rosemary Lemonade.
