Thirsty – Cafe Rouge’s Think Pink Dinner

Café Rouge will turn into Café Rosé next week for their Twelfth Annual Think Pink All Rosé Dinner. There will be at least ten rosés from Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant offered by the glass and paired with a special à la carte menu including Gulf shrimp salad with marble potatoes, cherry tomatoes and basil ($12), Pan roasted local sardines with tomato sauce, fried capers, caramelized onion and currant stuffing ($10), Baked fresh corn polenta with fried Sundoggie egg, piperade, zucchini and Mezzo Seco ($18), Whole roasted branzino, summer bean and cucumber salad with picholine olives and aïoli ($24), Sautéed Cornish game hen with roasted potatoes, summer truffles and braised Romano beans ($26) and McCormack lamb mixed grill with Moroccan eggplant tian ($28).
