baywolf 38th double duck dinnerIt’s not everyday that a restaurant makes it to 38 years. Congratulations to BayWolf, which is celebrating with a three course prix fixe Double Duck Dinner. Here’s the menu:

Duck focaccia

Head-to-foot duck soup with savory duck meatballs

Walduck salad with duck confit, roasted grapes, walnuts and creamy blue cheese dressing

Grilled scallops with pancetta, fried black-eyed peas, mustard greens and pepper relish

Smoked duck breast with scallion pancake, carrot-coriander salad and crispy ginger

Deconstructed reconstructed Caesar salad with quackers

Pan-seared Bolinas black cod with shellfish bouillabaisse and saffron rouille

Moroccan-style duck tagine with spiced couscous, preserved lemon and pistachios

Grilled duck breast with potato galette, summer onions, Gravenstein apples and cider sabayon

South-of-the-border duck wings with mole poblano and duck-queso fresco chile relleno

Bacon-wrapped filet mignon with sauteed duck liver, pain de mie, mushrooms and red wine sauce

End-of-summer berry pudding

Santa Rosa plum cobbler with toasted almond ice cream

Duck egg mocha pot de crème

Also available by the glass or decanter will be Au Bon Climat “Knox Alexander” & “Isabelle” pinot noirs (blended together for the first time).
