(Cook)Book Club – Ripe

ripe cookbook coverCheryl Sternman Rule is one of my favorite food writers, and I’ve been reading her blog for years, so I suggested her cookbook for next month’s potluck before having seen it. After flipping through the pages, I quickly realized that Ripe is not your average cookbook. Instead of being organized by meal (breakfast, lunch) or course (main dish, side dish), recipes are grouped by color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. Interesting, right? This will be a fun get together, and you should join us! We always have a good time talking about food and life, andnd it’s also a good opportunity to try new recipes. All you have to do is sign up, chose a recipe, make the dish at home and bring it to Mosswood Park to share.
