The theme of The Crucible’s Fall Open House is Tools to the Table so “the utensils and artistry of cooking, brewing, eating and drinking will all be highlighted.” Food vendors will also be on site including Boffo Cart, LOAKal Mobile Food members Fist of Flour and Tina Tamale and several Kitchener Oakland friends such as TART Bakery, Uptown Juice Company, Stroopie Gourmet and Sugar Knife Artisan Sweets. There will be live demonstrations from RoastCo. Coffee and People’s Grocery and Chef Peter Jackson from Boucherie Artisan Meats will demonstrate how to butcher a hog. Periscope Cellars Wines and Linden Street Brewery will also be there to discuss wine and beer making. The whole studio will be open, and there will be live demonstrations by art students and teachers. New students who sign up for a Fall class during the Open House will get 20% off.
