Pig Roast Cook-Off at Linden Street Brewery

Restauranteurs Chris Pastena and Lev Delaney are holding the 1st Annual Pig Roast Cook-Off at Linden Street Brewery. Pig roasts have been a Chop Bar tradition for years, but this time chefs Chris Pastena (Chop Bar), Craig DiFonzo (Lungomare), Huw Thornton (Tribune Tavern) and Lev Delaney (Brotzeit) will roast and butcher four different pigs. You can vote for your favorite and the winner will get bragging rights and a pig trophy. Entry includes plate of pork from all four chefs, along with sides like potato salad, greens, cornbread. Of course, Linden Street beer will be on tap and there will also be Fernet for those in the mood for something more spirited. The family-friendly event will have live music, a jumpy castle and Fist of Flour will serve pizza for kids and vegetarians.
