I met Carolyn Silas-Sams last year but have yet to try her food. She won 2nd place in Alameda County Gumbo Cook-Off, so it’s probably safe to assume the woman knows how to cook. Carolyn’s Creole Kitchen is kicking off Dungeness Crab season with the 11th Annual Holiday Hot Garlic Crab Dinner at Geoffrey’s Inner Circle. It’s a four course meal with Creole-Seasoned Hot Garlic Dungeness Crab, served with Jambalaya, Hot Garlic Bread, Fresh Mixed Green Salad, Blue Bayou Punch and Dessert.
410 14th St, Oakland
Sat, 12/14, 6 – 10pm
$60 per person, $45 for take out, $35 per person for Smoked Ribs
