James Whitehead started Fist of Flour, a mobile pizza company a few years ago and has been regularly making appearances at festivals since then. The thin crust pizza is handmade with locally sourced, organic ingredients. After a few months of preparation, he’s ready to open his first brick and mortar. The Doughjo’s Grand Opening is actually tomorrow, Wed, 1/15 at 5pm! James hasn’t released the menu yet, but he’s offering 15 large and 20 extra large pies ($14 – 32), salads and sodas. It sounds like a casual spot with “counter tops to stand at for a quick slice and take away service.”
4166 MacArthur Blvd, Oakland
Wed – Sun, 5 – 9pm

Wow, cool find! I’ll actually be in Berkeley and Oakland this Friday and am looking for a good lunch spot!
They don’t open until 5pm, but let me know what you think if you end up stopping by!
