Because of a lack of cafes open in the evenings, the owners of EndGame, a game store in Old Oakland, decided to expand into the space next door. They plan to serve coffee, tea and food in the day and continue through the evening: “Staying caffeinated while gaming has never been easier.” A Kickstarter was started to help raise funds for the build out, and they surpassed their goal of $25,000. The total is now just over $31,000, so they’ll be able to add heated outdoor seating. The next goal is a performance space with lights and sound.
