The owners of The Layover have been working on an Uptown beer garden and they just announced an opening date: Sun, 4/20, 2 – 8pm. It looks like the family-friendly Lost & Found will have a pretty sizable outdoor area, which sounds perfect for summer. Let’s talk about the 20 beers on tap. They range “from the traditional blue-collar pints to the European and local barrel aged high gravity craft brews.” There will also be food, so you should expect “small bites, such as beef tendon ‘chicharrones,’ corn on the cob ‘elotes,’ instant ramen ‘Cheetos’, Korean fiery chicken wings, and an array of sandwiches, from jibaritos to beer can chicken ‘porchetta.’ I’m definitely looking forward to this opening.
