Who are the Food Nominees for the 2014 Oakland Indie Awards?

Over 50 local businesses and artists will be there, so it’s a good opportunity to sample what local restaurants, wineries and breweries have to offer.  Last year, Tina Tamale, Kitchener and Savor Oakland won awards and this year several other food business have been nominated:

Oakland Soul – B-Side BBQ, Farley’s East, Loring Cafe, Souley Vegan, The New Parkway

Ripple Effect – Kainbigan, Cafe Gabriela, Chop Bar, Edible Excursions, Hal’s NY Hot Dogs, Little Shop Artisan Box, Localite Tours, Red Bay Coffee

Innovative Newcomer – Donut Savant, Greasebox Cafe, Sosu Sauces, The New Parkway,

Greenie – Back to the Roots, Phat Beets, Uptown Juice Company

Social Changemaker – CORE Foods, Get Goes Mobile Cafe, Simply Bliss Catering
