The Jamaican Jerk Cook-Off, a fundraiser for My Yute Soccer, is coming up and early bird tickets are on sale now. There will be live music, a Kids’ Zone and plenty of Jerk. Chefs from participating restaurants (Rumbo al Sur, Nora Spanish Cuisine, Jimmie Jerk Chicken in Atlanta, The Grand Tavern, Commonwealth Cafe & Pub, The Dock at Linden Street Brewery, Chop Bar, C & C Original Jerk and Africari Jerk) will be competing for bragging rights. I went last year and ended up taking this action shot of Sebastian from S+S Gastro Grub. That jerk pork was tasty, so I’m looking forward to tasting all of the entries this year.
