(Cook)Book Club: Afro-Vegan

bryant-terry-afro-veganThe launch party was just a couple months ago so I’m really excited to check out Bryant Terry’s newest cookbook. We chose Afro-Vegan for our next potluck:

“African, Caribbean, and southern food are all known and loved as vibrant and flavor-packed cuisines. In Afro-Vegan, renowned chef and food justice activist Bryant Terry reworks and remixes the favorite staples, ingredients, and classic dishes of the African Diaspora to present wholly new, creative culinary combinations that will amaze vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike.”

It was fun last time, so you should join us for the next one!  All you have to do is sign up, make a dish from one of his cookbooks, and bring it to Mosswood Park to share.  We usually meet at the tables by the playground.
