I learned a lot about the history of the neighborhood and the story behind the cocktails when I went on an Uptown Retro Cocktails Tour with Localite Tours last year. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, so I wasn’t surprised when I heard about the new singles version. It’s a collaboration with East Bay Express and Oakland Grown and there will be dating experts, ice breakers and mini speed dating activities. Sounds like fun, right? If you’re single, you should definitely check it out. So far, there are three dates scheduled:
July 17th – Bay Area Progressive Professionals & Leaders
July 31st – The Over 45 Crowd
Aug 14th – Lesbian and Bisexual night
