Hog’s Apothecary opened last year and just unveiled their brunch menu on Tuesday with a “Breakfast 4 Dinner Party.” They mentioned Chicken & Waffles, Biscuits & Gravy, Housemade Bacon and a Pork & Beef Burger. Yes please! After this week, the restaurant will be open 7 days a week.

Juhu Beach Club opened over a year and a half ago and just started serving brunch this past weekend. There’s something called a Doswaffle on the menu, which is part South Indian dosa and part Belgian Style Waffle. I’m intrigued. It’s gluten-free and they’re serving versions with Nutella and Banana ($13) and with Fried Chicken n Doswaffle ($15).

Townie is in Berkeley, but I’m including it here because….why not? The restaurant opened a few months ago and recently unveiled their brunch menu, which includes a Croque Madame with braised pork, Gruyère Mornay sauce and a fried egg ($9.00); a Breakfast Burger with summer vegetables and red wine vinaigrette ($14.00); and Brioche French Toast ($9.00).

Shakewell has been serving delicious Mediterranean food for a few months now, so I was excited to hear about brunch. Their menu includes Fried Bread Pudding with Fuyu Persimmons and Whipped Creme Fraiche ($11) and Shakshuka, Moroccan baked eggs, chick peas, roasted peppers, herbs, feta, pain de mie ($12.50)

Kingston 11 opened last year and just started serving brunch a couple months ago. In addition to their amazing cocktails, you can also order Jamaican Breakfast, which is ackee and saltfish, with fried dumplings, sweet plantains, and bammy.
