Free parking, Oakland BBQ sauce and all you can drink mimosas:

  • Parking is free in Oakland every Saturday through the end of the year, but be careful because time limits are still enforced.

  • Phat Matt’s opened their restaurant almost 5 years ago and just launched a Kickstarter so they can bottle their delicious-sounding BBQ sauce.  And if you donate $15, they’ll even give you one!

  • Lucky Three Seven is now serving beer and wine and they mentioned something about all you can drink Mimosas.  Just thought you should know.

  • Homeroom To Go is officially opening on Dec 2 with beer, wine, take out mac & cheese and other goodies.

  • Heads up: Bar Dogwood is opening a new bar on Piedmont.

  • Just heard about Independent Brewing Company.  The tasting room is open and you can taste an “Everybody Likes a Strawberry” blonde ale.

  • Starting this week, Shakewell will be serving lunch every Friday from 11:30-2:30pm.

  • Lusu Cellars is getting ready for a winemaker dinner and wine release party.  Congratulations!

  • Gather is celebrating their 5th anniversary with a special a la carte dinner on Mon, 12/15, and everyone will get a complimentary glass of bubbly.

  • The New Parkway is turning two years old on 12/22, and to celebrate they’ll show $2 movies all afternoon and night. In every movie showing that day they’ll raffle off a 2015 New Parkway Annual Pass – “meaning you get into anything we show in the upcoming year for free!”
