Peter Jackson is the talented chef/owner behind Boucherie Meats and he recently started popping-up at the Old Oakland Farmers Market on Fridays and Jack London Square Farmers Market on Sundays. I stopped by last weekend and picked up some Smoked Chile Chorizo.
Chef Peter helped me celebrate Oktoberfest a couple years ago, by cooking sausages and pairing beer, so I took everything I learned from watching him that day and free-styled my own breakfast dish. I cooked the chorizo the way he did, and it was juicy, smoky, slightly spicy and absolutely delicious with an egg, onions and red peppers.
Can’t wait to try something else from Boucherie Meats next time!
