Coinciding with the recent boom of handcrafted cocktails, The Commonwealth Club is hosting Distilled in the Bay Area: How to Drink Like a Locavore. Virginia Miller, food writer for the SF Bay Guardian, will moderate a panel which includes Lance Winters (St. George Spirits), Marko Karakasevic (Charbay Winery & Distillery), Davorin Kuchan (Old World Spirits) and Salvatore Cimino (1512 Spirits). And, of course, the panel discussion will be followed by a tasting.
