The Blues & Brews Festival is in Pleasant Hill Park this weekend and sounds like fun. Live music will be provided by Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, Chris Cain, Tip of the Top and others. Participating breweries include 21st Amendment, Ale Industries, Anchor Brewing Co, Black Diamond, Cherry Voodoo, High Water Brewing, Lost Coast, Mendocino Brewery and Santa Cruz Ale Works. You can get one beer for $5 or get an Unlimited Beer Tasting Wristband ($30 in advance and $40 at the door). I say bring a designated driver and get the wristband.
