According to the poster, Live is Living “ is a free celebration of urban life through hip hop, intergenerational health and environmental action” in Defremery Park. There will be a special DJ set by Talib Kweli, a petting zoo and several artists and artisans. In fact, my talented friend Diane Bezucha is launching her photography business on Saturday, and this is a photo she took at the event last year. After some research, I can tell you that the food vendor list includes Taste of Africa, No Worries (Filipino Vegan Cuisine), Lumpia Lady (Asian fusion) and DeFremery Grill (BBQ). There will also be a Food Justice area hosted by Food First.
