Nosy – Burgers & Fries

Park Burger opened about three weeks ago in the Glenview district. I stopped by the other day and ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger (with two strips of bacon and a choice of Tillamook Cheddar, Swiss, Stilton Blue or Gruyere, $9.50).  The Marin Sun Farms grass fed organic beef is ground in house daily, and, according to the menu, “all beef patties are cooked medium unless requested otherwise.”  I didn’t request otherwise, but my burger was actually medium well.  Thankfully, it was still pretty juicy.  Buns are exclusively from Bakers of Paris and baked fresh daily.  There are options for other burger toppings including a fried egg, sauteed mushrooms, and I just heard that the Manassa Mauler (Black bean patty with jalapeno slaw and sweet chili aioli, $7) was especially tasty.  The cashier recommended the Sweet Potato Fries ($4), which were salty and slightly sweet, but I wished they were also crispy.  There are also a couple salads, hot dogs and milkshakes on the menu, along with beer and wine.  All in all, Park Burger seems like a nice neighborhood spot to grab a quick meal.
