Social – Fried Chicken, Banana Pudding & Stroopwafels

Kitchener Oakland’s next pop-up market is all about Comfort Food.  This means Fried Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Banana Pudding and these stroopwafels that look ooey, gooey and positively mouthwatering. Is it just me?  Anyway, participating vendors include Alternative Delectable Delights (Chocolate treats), Art is in Coffee (Brazilian fudge treats, coffee, hot cocoa), Barbarian Gourmet (Wild mushroom mac & cheese, cheddar fried chicken, collard greens), Bump City Bakery (Banana pudding and pies), The Cook and Her Farmer (Oysters and Oyster po’boys), Javi’s Cooking (Argentine empanadas and alfajores), Ruby Red Kitchen (Chocolate bread pudding with vanilla bourbon sauce), The Stroopie Gourmet (Dutch stroopwafels) and The Pie Shop (British pasties). There will also be $2 pints from Linden Street Brewery and a free wine tasting by Selection Massale.
