Tara’s Organic Ice Cream was established in Santa Fe in 2008 before moving to Berkeley in 2008. A second store was opened in Oakland two years later, cementing its rightful place in the East Bay. According to The Store Front, Tara’s is expanding again, this time to the former Cold Stone location in downtown Pleasanton. I guess we just can’t get enough. When I stopped by the Berkeley store the other day I heard that opening day will be in the next few months – hopefully just in time for summer.
