Jennie Schacht was a health and social welfare writer before she decided to give food writing a try. Ten years and seven cookbooks later, she’s a culinary writer and consultant based in Oakland. Sweet Bar Bakery is hosting a celebration for Jennie’s newest cookbook, i scream SANDWICH, where you can try free samples, buy whole ice cream sandwiches and get an autographed copy of the book.
