Kitchener’s Summer Solstice Fiesta Pop-Up Market sounds like fun! There will be $2 brews and most foods are priced $5 and under. The food will be handled by women owned food businesses affiliated with Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment:
- Bump City Bakery – Tiny blackberry prize pies, toffee coffee cookies, and jam bars
- Felicitas Anaya – Carrot cake, flan, jello desserts
- Fiesta y Sabor Catering – Shrimp ceviche tostadas and spinach and pesto lasagna
- Gotta Get That Cake! – Red velvet, German chocolate, and caramel miniature cakes
- GUAVA (The Caribbean Food Company) – Banana leaf wrapped Caribbean pastelles (beef, shrimp, fish, and vegan fillings)
- The Heirloom Chef – Shiitake-mushroom meatloaf, ratatouille with fresh herb brown rice
- Keena’s Kitchen – BBQ chicken, BBQ pork belly, summer new potato salad, summer succotash w/ sweet corn and okra
- The Pie Shop – British meat pies and vegan pasties, British bangers on buns
