Social – Knife Skills & A Ranch Tour

Is it time to…uh….sharpen your knife skills?  The Cafe Rouge crew is going to teach a “Using Your Knife In The Kitchen” class next week.  After you learn how to use, sharpen and care for your knife, they’ll teach how to safely and efficiently slice, dice and butcher.  Food and wine will also be served.  I was invited to a Butchery class a few years ago and I learned A LOT without ever feeling overwhelmed, the servers kept my wine glass full and the food was both plentiful and tasty.  In a couple weeks, on Sun, 7/28, they’ll take a group up to McCormack Ranch for a tour that ends in a luncheon ($125, transportation included).  Call the restaurant or e-mail marsha@caferouge.netto sign up.
