Lusu Cellars just moved into a new space last week. Named after Lusus, the Roman God of wine, owner/winemaker David Teixeira “sources from dry-farmed and sustainable family-owned vineyards.” A few days ago, I stopped by and tasted the 2010 Sangiovese, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma ($24) and the 2010 Zinfandel “The Stonecutters Journey” Mt. Wcliff Vineyard, El Dorado ($20). David is going to be renovating the tasting room and previewing new wines in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can stop by to check out his current offerings, plus a couple more from Eno Wines.
