Sweet Bar Bakery Celebrates Michael Jackson’s Birthday

Last year, Michael Jackson’s former chef Mani Niall opened Sweet Bar Bakery on the anniversary of Thriller, the best selling album of all time. It’s time to celebrate the King of Pop’s birthday with his favorite dish: smoky New Mexican Red Chile enchilada sauce over Chilaquiles, with black beans, jicama slaw and pork or vegetarian adobo. For dessert, “Michael loved ice cream and maple pecan ‘ookies, and that’s a great way to cool down after the sauce.” And this party is extra special for Mani because “when I was his chef he did not celebrate his birthday for religious reasons– No cakes, cards or nothin!  So now I can make up for it.  Oh-and rumor has it the Flash Mob that performed at our Grand Opening will be back…!”
