The Pasta Shop is hosting the Fifth Annual For the Love of Chocolate. It’s like one stop shopping for anyone looking for a chocolatey Valentine’s gift. Bay Area chocolatiers Barlovento, Charles Chocolates and Coco Delice will pass out free samples and Kohler Chocolates from Wisconsin will also be there.  They’re offering a 10% discount on all things chocolate. The legendary Alice Medrich will be there too, signing copies of her book Seriously Bittersweet.

Last week, I gave you some options for going out to dinner for Valentine’s Day.  If you’re going to cook, The Pasta Shop will also have lots of specialty ingredients to help you out.  If you need a little more help, they’ll also have a special Valentine’s Menu (Thurs, 2/13 – Sun, 2/16) with several dishes including Moroccan Chicken in Sweet & Spicy Tomato Sauce, Couscous with Herbs & Crispy Shallots and Red Velvet Cupcakes.
