Valentine’s reservations, Mardi Gras, forageSF walks

Don’t worry!  It’s not too late if you still want to make reservations for Valentine’s Day.  I would suggest calling your favorite restaurant or looking on Open Table.  Lots of restaurants are serving up special prix fixe menus.

Brazilian Samba Dancers and the Craig Caffall Zydeco Band will perform at the Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Party.  They’re giving away a trip to New Orleans, but you’ll have to stick around until the drawing because you must be present to win.

I also wanted to let you know about a couple guided East Bay forage walks in March.  If you’re interested, you might want to get your ticket from forageSF now because the last walks apparently sold out in 25 minutes.  There are still some tickets left for all 3 walks, but get on it if you want to go.  A couple of local ‘wild edible experts’ will teach groups which plants we see every day are actually edible and point out wild medicinals.

Sat, 3/6, 3/20, 3/27, 2pm

$35
