Kiri Eschelle and Dirk Kahl, the owners of Levende East, opened Liege Spirits Lounge – just half a block away- last week. According to the Oakland Tribune, they serve fresh and creative (and strong) cocktails, tapas and fondue. The wine list changes every two months and will represent a different region. All 17 bottles on the current list are from Latin America.
